History of the Lincoln House
The Lincoln House Bed & Breakfast was constructed in 1904 by Willard Loomis Lincoln and his wife, Annie Navy Smith Lincoln. The house overlooked Mr. Lincoln’s business, the Look and Lincoln Wagon Factory, which was known throughout the nation for high quality wagons, carriages, and farm equipment. This lovely home is located in historic downtown Marion, Virginia. It has been lovingly restored and renovated by your hostess, Betsy Sayers, a great-granddaughter of the original owners.
Come stay with us and enjoy the relaxed, slow pace of small town life. Stroll through the historic downtown district with its lovely old homes, The Smyth County Museum, Smyth-Bland Regional Library, the recently restored Lincoln Theatre, restaurants and more.
Hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, and boating are within walking distance or a short drive away. If you are feeling less energetic, you will enjoy relaxing in this beautiful, climate-controlled house or on our comfortable wrap-around porch.
